In the past few years, MLHS has seen many improvements to our gymnasium reflecting the pride in our school:
New Scoreboards
Walls & Ceilings Repainted
Brighter, Energy-Efficient Lights
Floor Stripped & Redesigned
Thousands visit our gymnasium each year. For many this is the first, AND PERHAPS ONLY, exposure to our school!
There was one step left: Our old bleachers were no longer safe or up to code.
They had no railings or designated walkways, nor space for guests & fans who utilize wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers. A number of sections are cracked or broken.
Over 3,100 alumni have heard cheers from fans, applause from concert & drama guests, and singing at worship.
The new bleachers will complete our gym renovation, and be installed by the start of the '10-'11 school year.
